WINTER GALLERY
With it's bare branches and the quiet of slowed growth, you might think that winter offers little in the way of floral materials. Think again. Many of the most fragrant blooms are only available in winter. Winter blooming daphne, witch hazel, and sarcacocca set off local roses and orchids. Spring blooming bulbs get a head start in greenhouses, so we also work with ranunculus, anemones, hyacinth, tulips, muscari, and fritillaries at this time of year. We layer in ferns, berries, jasmine vine and seasonal foliage to round out the winter palette.
