Winter Flowers Workshop Highlights
With our Winter Flowers Workshop coming up on January 26th, I thought it would be fun to share some images from the last time we hosted a Winter Flowers workshop a few years ago. Winter is not a time that is typically considered great for flowers, but there are actually so many beautiful blooms and textures available at this time of year. The photos below are from a workshop we hosted a couple years ago in January- and as you will see, the flowers are gorgeous! In this workshop we covered color theory, vase mechanics for a compote design, and of course arranging and layering techniques to create a beautiful, lush arrangement with natural and intentional movement.
We'll be covering similar material in our upcoming workshop, with a special focus on finding inspiration in the winter months when local materials are more limited, and learning some tips and tricks for designing with winter flowers. The studio will be stocked with some of my favorite winter blooms, and we'll spend a few hours together building gorgeous arrangements! Enjoy this little peek into our last Winter Flowers Workshop, and click here for more information and registration for the workshop coming up on January 26th!
