A Romantic, Backyard, Summer Wedding in Seattle with Pink, Peach and Cream Bouquets

It is such a treat to work with couples who trust in us and the garden. Lea and Remy definitely fell into this category, opting for our From the Garden Florals- where we design exclusively with flowers grown in our Seattle Cutting Garden. As you will see in these images, everything came together so beautifully to create a warm, romantic palette of soft pink, peach, and cream tones for this intimate backyard wedding, with some of the most lush summer flowers we grow including cafe au lait dahlias, koko loko and Sally Holmes garden roses, hydrangea, foxglove, zinnias, grasses, and all kinds of foliage and other unique textures!

One thing I love about working fully from the garden like this is that the color and flower palette always seems to work out perfectly. The From the Garden process is quite spontaneous- these are truly "of the moment" designs, as we are making choices based on what is blooming and beautiful the week of the wedding, which we really can't predict ahead of time. But it always seems to happen that the flowers match the colors of bridesmaid dresses, linens, and other wedding details perfectly, and that the couple's hopes for their flowers are able to come to fruition easily. It just works out, and that always feel like magic. Unending thanks to the garden for providing such beautiful flowers to surround so many couples on these momentous days of their lives!
