Delicate, Modern and Organic Spring Wedding Inspiration at Crate and Barrel

We're always game to play with new design ideas and collaborate with other creatives, so when Tamara from Simply By Tamara Nicole approached us about designing flowers for a wedding event at Crate & Barrel, we said YES! This event took place in late March, when the local flowers are really starting to wake up bloom in earnest. We created two different looks for this event and the accompanying photo shoot, which was featured on 100 Layer Cake. For the first look, we created a modern, architectural, over-the-arm bouquet using calla lilies and ranunculas. The tablescape for this look brought in lots of colorful yet muted tones of peach, gold and blue, and we used calla lilies, hyacinth, and muscari to create something playful and modern.

For the second look, we went extremely minimal using just one ingredient- blooming spirea branches from our Cutting Garden. We wrapped up a wild and whimsical bundle of spirea branches with silk ribbon for the bridal bouquet, and created a minimalistic and delicate tablescape with airy arrangements of spirea in porcelain pieces from Crate & Barrel. It was a wonderful event, and hopefully you'll find something here to inspire your spring wedding!
