Behind the Scenes at a Salish Lodge Wedding

Who can say when we will be back to setting up weddings like this, unmasked, as a team? It is unknown. I can't say it doesn't sting a little seeing photos where our team is huddled close together, looking at lines and color patterns within the installation we're creating, deciding how to build it out. I miss this working together in close quarters, collaborating and making designs come to life! We approach installations as site-specific pieces, so though we do have a rough plan going in, we do a lot of the design onsite, and the "florist huddle" where we step back and look at what we're making to assess the overall picture is something special!

This wedding at Salish Lodge and Spa had two such installations: a big, fluffy, floral arch for the ceremony, and an installation over the fireplace inside the lodge. Both were so much fun to make, and created such a festive and lush atmosphere for this summer wedding filled with juicy peach and plum tones. I hope you enjoy looking through this gallery of some BTS set-up of our team working, as well as the finished designs for this wedding. And hopefully this beautiful and warm summer color palette will bring you some joy!
